About Lynda

Born and raised in France, near beautiful Paris, I later lived in Provence, surrounded by lavender and rosemary scents.

After years of educating children to environmental and animal protection, I moved to California with my family and became a Montessori teacher guiding young students, once again, through their inspiring journey. In the meantime, I’ve always written short stories and journals.  I used to hide poems in my mom's slippers for when she'd wake up.

I’ve combined my love of nature, education and creativity with that of writing children’s books, fusing these fields of expertise into meaningful stories, my greatest source of inspiration being my daughter and the many books she reads (OK, I read them too).

I'm driven to write fictions raising awareness of nature and all living creatures in children's lives.

I'm a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), the Children's Book Writers of Los Angeles (CBW-LA) and the Children's Literature Council, among others.
